Kailey Mullins, LCSW

Life is full of challenges, often leading to uncomfortable and unwanted thoughts and feelings. The strategies we use to avoid this distress may provide temporary relief but can keep us from genuine fulfillment.

My primary aim as your therapist is to help you live a life that gratifies you, one that aligns with your goals and values. I will partner with and support you in embracing your internal experience, thus freeing up time and energy to focus on living.

I have over eight years of experience treating adults who are navigating mood, anxiety, trauma, and addiction-related disorders. The majority of my clients live at the intersection of multiple marginalized identities, and it is a salient part of my clinical approach to consider the implications of systemic disempowerment. Recognizing how the systems we inhabit shape our internal and external lives is critical and can be a validating, empowering experience. As your therapist, I strive to understand you in this larger context as we work together toward meaningful growth.

I am also licensed in the state of North Carolina.
